My late grandma always cooked this meal for me for breakfast when I was just a little kid. During that time they cooked using firewood stove, very authentic feeling. It is called 'sirap pisang' or caramelized banana. As simple as grilled the banana on a hot pan. Now, my version of caramelized banana is the same but I added few tummy warming ingredients like cinnamon powder, ginger powder, olive oil and a sprinkle of sugar & sesame seed.
